The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. Rotary Club Giza is one of the leading Rotary Clubs in Egypt.

3. Dar EL Oyoun Hospital (Al Nokhba for Medical Services)” is a leading Egyptian share-holding company specialized in Ophthalmology and Hospital Management for Ophthalmology centers and day-care eye hospitals and operating in Egypt with four branches [ Cairo 2 branches,Aswan,Qena ] and as well as a branch in each of UAE and Libya. Dar El Oyoun Eye Hospitals is a private eye hospital network owned by the company either completely or partially with the main central branch in Giza, Egypt. To make good service affordable to every patient, the hospital founded an economical branch that offers high quality service at a low price as well as a partner NGO, Oyoun EL Wadi Association, that supports its developmental programs. The main vision of the hospital is to bring the newest and most sophisticated technologies in ophthalmology and make it available and affordable for patients in Egypt, the Arab countries and Africa.

4. The three parties share the common vision to improve lives of people through improving their health. Special emphasis shall be given to the poorest sector of the poor. All parties believe that their collaboration is built upon the complementary strengths of each organization, and that they are to produce accretive synergistic effects with the “whole” being greater than the “sum of the parts”. They share the belief in the right of all humans to get equal access to high quality healthcare service at an affordable price irrespective of their race, gender, religion, socioeconomic standard and geographical location. They believe also in the right of young ophthalmologists to get equal access to information, training and research facilities. The three parties are committed to cooperate to find an innovative, sustainable solution for the poorest sector of the poor and community development.

5. Rotary Club Giza has been for many years partner with Dar El Oyoun Eye Hospitals and supported many activities including outreaches, school screening programs and co-sponsorship of patients who could not afford their treatment.

6. Blindness prevention and eye health care are one of the priorities of Dar El Oyoun and Rotary Clubs International

The Rotary Club Giza,

• Would like to support some of the activities, which would be included in the agreement planned by the First and third parties. The spectrum of support would cover support of outreaches, treatment of patients who cannot afford. In general rotary would also like to sponsor some scholarships for physicians , sponsoring training programs for medical staff including nurses and nurse aid in Egypt, and any other activity that would help in community development in Egypt.

• The support of the programs will be approved in every case according to the program, budget and available funds through separate agreements with Dar El Oyoun.
